Why choose a stainless steel tap?<\/em><\/h4>\n


\nPRO\u00a0<\/strong>Steel is an alloy composed mainly of iron and carbon. Among those on the market,\u00a0AISI 316L<\/strong>\u00a0stainless steel, where \u201cL\u201d stands for \u201clow carbon\u201c, is the most noble and pure. The lower presence of carbon ensures greater resistance to impurities.<\/p>\n

Unlike chromed brass, steel is\u00a0inert to acids<\/strong>\u00a0and therefore it is easier to maintain its brilliance over time.
\nSteel is also an\u00a0eco friendly material<\/em>, as in addition to being extremely durable, it is also completely recyclable and therefore can be reused with different applications.<\/p>\n

VERSUS\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Reasons why steel has so far found little application in the taps sector are the cost and production method. Brass taps are produced largely through the pouring (thermofusion) of the material inside a mold.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, if heated, the steel loses the mechanical strength characteristics that distinguish it and make it an \u201cindestructible\u201d material. It is therefore necessary to work it by digging and turning the material.<\/p>\n
